What a wonderful place to stay in the Danish countryside! I have to say that my hosts, Dorte and Jens, are amazing. They drove me around to see stunning landscapes, picturesque castles, and extraordinary scenery by the water, including beautiful white cliffs.

Did I mention that they also prepare traditional meals that can be served alfresco on the patio or indoors? The menu features quite a number of traditional dishes, along with some wonderful creations of their own.

A day with us at Kilden

Breakfast

fresh bread from the local bakery or homemade. Danish cheese and jams, fresh eggs, fruit, dairy, and of course, coffee or tea.

Outing

A walk to the local 750-year-old church, the park and forest at Vemmetofte Castle, a stroll along the beach, maybe even a swim.

Lunch

Home-cooked meal at Kilden or at a local café, followed by a relaxing time in the house or garden, or an e-bike ride in the surrounding area.

Afternoon

Trip to the Fakse Kalkbrud and Geomuseum, as well as the Blåbæk Møller. Everything is provided, including refreshments

Dinner

Served in the dining room or on the terrace. Enjoy modern Danish or European cuisine.

Evening

Spend your evening lounging on our cozy patio or treat yourself in our scenic greenhouse with a delicious cup of coffee.
